LAVENHAM VILLAGE



This picture-perfect village has an array of clustered houses that looks like Medieval England, as a result of its high street of half-timbered houses and more than 340 listed buildings.

The lime-washed and brightly colored buildings are such a delight to behold, including Corpus Christi Guildhall and the De Vere House, these buildings starred in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” The most iconic buildings in this village are the richly decorated fifteenth and sixteenth-century St Peter & St Paul Church, with its lofty 141ft tower.

Trains run from Liverpool St to Sudbury, about seven miles away, about 76 miles from Central London.
